Together Again

I thought I had lost you.
I had been chasing after you for so long.
After you disappeared from my sight I almost despaired.
Yet here we stand together in this place.

We could have been something in the past.
Its what you wanted.
Its want you wanted me to want.
But I did not want it.
I did not know what I wanted.

So you ran from me.
I wanted to chase after you for so long.
I knew if I did you would not accept me.
Or that is what I thought.

Though for some reason I will never understand you came back.
When I called out to you.
You answered by returning.

Now we walk this new path together.
Hand in hand.
